(IB MYP) is currently preparing curriculum, projects, field
trips and activities for next year. There is still time to apply

Excellence
High achieving students from both high schools in Tyler Independent
School District will receive special recognition Thursday night, and
they will be sharing the spotlight with some extraordinary teachers on
the same night. Thirty-eight students and 26 teachers will be honored.

Tyler ISD is pleased to announce Jennifer Sturm is the new principal
for Rice Elementary School. Sturm has been with the school system
for 14 years. Sturm currently serves as assistant principal at
Caldwell Elementary Arts Academy. She has served at several
campuses as an Instructional Consultant, Instructional Facilitator,

has approved and named Annisa Myers Kiener,
a Texas educator with 13 years of experience, as the new principal
of Hubbard Middle School. Kiener is currently Director of
Instruction in the Cy-Fair Independent School District in Houston,
Texas.
