Tyler ISD Campus Receives Donation

            Tyler ISD’s St. Louis School is the recipient of a donor’s generosity.  On Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., a representative from International Association Drilling Contractors (IADC) will present a $5,000 check to St. Louis School.  The money is in honor of Rochelle Stone, a current student at the school and in memory of former student Amy Williamson. St. Louis school principal Karyn Hacker says the funds will be used to improve instruction and provide materials and equipment for students at St. Louis School.

Stone is the daughter of Rick and Cindy Stone.  The Stones moved to Tyler from the Houston area so that Rochelle could attend St. Louis School.  Amy is the daughter of Betty Sue Caton and the late Charles Williamson.
