The Assessment Office has both leadership and support responsibilities for campuses regarding student assessment. Our goal is to enhance student learning opportunities by administering
Federal, State and Local testing programs across the District.
INSTRUCTIONAL ASSESSMENT
The department of Instructional Assessments provides C-Scope, TEKS CHECK and TAKS
Simulation assessments in math, science, social studies, reading,
writing, and ELA. In addition, the Texas Primary Reading Inventory (TPRI)
and Tejas Lee (Spanish Reading Inventory) for grades K-2 are administered.
This assessment data is
utilized to improve student achievement.
