Cecil McDaniel, Deputy Superintendent of Operations
Mr. McDaniel is responsible for the oversight of non curriculum
areas, including communications, facilities, human resources, and
technology.
Cecil
McDaniel is the new Deputy Superintendent for Tyler ISD. He
has more than 10 years of school district experience. He began his career
in public education with the Texas Education Agency Region X, and then
continued in Richardson ISD in Richardson, Texas. He has served as the
Richardson ISD District and Community Liaison, Director of Customer
Relations, Executive and Coordinating Director of Student Services, and most
recently Executive Director of Secondary Operations.
McDaniel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from University of
Oklahoma. He received his Master’s Degree in Counseling from Amber
University.
