It's time for the annual PTA Reflections Contest. This year's theme is "My Favorite Place..."
Students may enter in any of these areas:
(2 entries per category limit, please)
Literature
(poems, stories, plays, etc.)
Music
(singing, playing an instrument, etc.)
Photography
(color, black & white, collage, etc.)
Visual Arts
(paintings, drawings, sketches, pastels, etc.)
Dance Choreography
(must be original choreographed dance composition)
Film/Video
(fiction or non-fiction works relating to the current theme)
Entry forms and specific contest rules are available on line at www.txpta.org. Under "Resources", you will find an area for Reflections. Rules and entry forms are available in both English and Spanish. For students with no access to the internet, hard copies of the rules and entry forms are available in the office from Ms. Fowler
The deadline for entries to be turned in is Thursday, October 19th at 4:00 p.m. Entries should be placed in the Reflections box in the office. Campus winners will be announced on Wednesday, November 1st. Winners will be recognized and will advance to the district level for further competition.
