Texas History Class Info

In SEVENTH GRADE TEXAS HISTORY, we study the
story of the people, events, and ideas that shaped our state. We can understand
what Texas and its people are today only by understanding our state’s past.
Knowing that past may help us with the decisions we will need to make in our
future. Skills necessary for Texas History such as comparing/contrasting,
researching, sequencing, expression of ideas, predicting, recognizing opinions,
and many others will be used daily. Your child will practice excellent written
communication skills using standard grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and
punctuation.
