Pre-AP: Multiplying and Dividing Fractions and Decimals

3rd Six Weeks

1. Probability

2. Measurement (converting customary and metric units, area, perimeter and circles)

Pre-AP: Probability of Compound Events, Permutations, Area of a Trapezoid

4th Six Weeks

1. Geometry (angles, triangles, and quadrilaterals)
2. Measurement (weight and volume)
3. More Ratio and Proportion

Pre-AP: Perspectives, Complimentary and Supplementary Angles, Nets, Surface Area, Volume of a Cylinder

5th Six Weeks

1. Time and Temperature

2. Graphing (coordinate plane)

3. Proportions with tables, graphs, and equations

Pre-AP: Integer Operations

6th Six Weeks

Everyone -

1. Mathematical Expressions and Equations
2. Proportional Relationships

Pre-AP: Square Roots, Pythagorean Theorem, Scientific Notation
