What our Parents have to
say
about their experiences at Mustang Country:
One thing (of many) that I notice about Moore which sets it aside from other middle schools is that Moore is not afraid to acknowledge achievement and progress in school. The kids are recognized for doing well in class (parties, lunches) and achievements for projects school-wide, sports, academics, fine arts, and even in a classroom. I know of other schools which don't give the students that pat on the back that they so desperately desire or the chance to build their self-esteem and encouragement to learn more. Many students don't have that support system at home, so school is a major security for them and encouragement. Thank you Moore MST for giving that to all students. That is one of many reasons we are so proud and blessed to have our son attend the BEST middle school in East Texas. Well, let me rephrase that, the BEST in TEXAS!

We chose the Moore MST magnet program for our children because we were impressed by the challenging, well-rounded curriculum. We like that Moore emphasizes math, science, and technology without neglecting the humanities and the arts. Moore gives our children --
- dedicated teachers who go the extra mile to encourage student achievement;
- peers who are interested in academic success;
- a variety of worthwhile extra-curricular activities;
- an involved parent community; and
- innovative administrators who welcome parental input, encourage excellence, and maintain discipline among a widely diverse student population.
Most of all, we like the fact that Moore is not satisfied with the status quo and is always striving to improve.
