The school board has approved increased weighting for PreAP and AP courses to begin with the fall semester of 2007.  PreAP/PreIB courses will receive five extra points, and AP/IB courses will receive an additional ten points.  These extra points will be added when calculating numerical averages for the purposes of class rank only.
