MEDICINE AT SCHOOL

A student who must take any medication, over-the-counter or prescription medicine during the school day must bring a written request from his/her parent and the medicine (in its properly labeled bottle) to the school nurse.  Medications must remain in a locked cabinet in the clinic, B107. The school nurse will give the medicine at the proper times.  Over-the-counter medication must have medication sheet signed by a MD/DDS/OD.

No exceptions will be made except by the nurse, i.e., a student may carry asthma medication inhaler if it has been properly documented in the clinic.
