About the Event
The Tyler
ISD Teacher of the Year Banquet will be at 6:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, May 13, at Harvey Convention Center. This event is
held to acknowledge the phenomenal dedication and success of
our teachers and to recognize them for their contributions to
the children of Tyler. A teacher from each Tyler ISD campus has
been selected as the Campus Teacher of the Year. Each
nominee then completes a two-stage judging process where two
outstanding teachers will be selected to represent Tyler ISD
as the Elementary Teacher of the Year and the Secondary
Teacher of the Year. These two winners will be announced at the
banquet.
