TEACHER OF THE MONTH

April 2010 -- Jose Graciano, Peete Elementary School
Mr. Graciano earned the April Teacher of the Month recognition.  The plaque was presented by Superintendent Randy Reid and Principal Freeman Sterling.


March 2010 -- LaShunda Wright, Ramey Elementary School

La Shunda Wright was surrounded by her students after receiving the March Teacher of the Month plaque from Superintendent Randy Reid.


February 2010 -- Jamie Womack, Rice Elementary School

Jaime was very surprised when she received a visit from Superintendent Randy Reid and Principal Jennifer Sturm to  present her with the teacher of the month recognition.


January 2010 -- Karen Brashear, Bonner Elementary School
Karen Brashear was surrounded by her students after receiving the January Teacher of the Month plaque from Superintendent Randy Reid.

Karen is a veteran teacher who has embraced CSCOPE and works hard to engage and move every child forward.

 


December 2009 -- Cynthia Davis, Griffin Elementary School

Cynthia Davis was presented with the December Teacher of the Month plaque by Superintendent Randy Reid and Principal Cynthia Howland.  Ms. Davis' students were very proud of her.


November 2009 -- Jennifer Martinets, Hubbard Middle School
Superintendent Randy Reid presented Jennifer with the November Teacher of the Month award. 
 


 


October 2009 -- Toby Wahl, Dogan Middle School

Mr. Wahl was given the October Teacher of the Month plaque by Superintendent Randy Reid.  This is his 3rd year in teaching and he uses his military background to connect and engage his students in 6th grade social studies.


September 2009 -- James Slaughter, John Tyler High School
Mr. Slaughter earned the September Teacher of the Month recognition.  The plaque was presented by Superintendent Randy Reid, Deputy Superintendent Cecil McDaniel and Principal Carol Saxenian.
